His Wings

His Wings

A Poem by TheOne&Only

As his back faced me.
he slowly spread his wings.

Under the night sky
his wings were black.

As it unfolded before me
as a sky that holds no stars.

The silhouette of his silky wings
Portrayed night clouds.

Beautiful.
Reminding me.

That even in the darkest of times.
There is still life.

The conclusion of the poem is beautiful.
The body can be better.
