A Minute of Life

I lay here trying to sleep.

I close my eyes and see you..

My heart builds with warmth and rhythm.

I want to cry.

But why?

 

I heard your voice for the first time

In three months

Suddenly, I'm alive. 

 

Though I have life for a brief minute.

It soon fades.

The connection so strong.

I stay aware.

It's  clear

I'm there. Your here.

 

Tonight I want to be where you are to be.

I Want to cry and lie between your heart & chest.

Wont you stay with me.

I missed you beyond belief 

I love you more then I can ever

Release.

 

Tonight I am filled with grief.

I can't help but to feel this longing.

The pain of love. 

Your voice so sweet.

So nice.

I'm reminded

Of how much you meant

To me.

And clearly still do.

 I can not sleep with out

Thinking of you.

Thank you for calling me

It may be bitter sweet.

But I rather sleep in tears

Then cold to the heart

 I once again will bare.
