CONCERNING JOKES AND THE METAPHYSICS THAT BE

It is altogether a metaphysical joke
A ploy worked out in the heavens
With dice tumbling down to earth

It is altogether painfully naive to believe in coincidence "
In acts of faith from so human a heart "
In fires cascading from skies "
and a lust that can moves glaciers

She is altogether lost to you :
A million little pieces - the puzzle of her mind ,
Escaped you entirely in your conquests for red earth "
Her heart that beats beneath the subtlety of her breast.

You missed the one
And now you cannot find the other "
Weep " for there is only she
And there cannot be another.
