A Story of a GirlA Poem by Mary OchoaNot too high Darling :)I know a girl Not sure if you met
her Let me refresh your
memory She was that girl who
was on that pedestal Dared not to be
touched by any other Fire Ice Water Had nothing against
her Every man wanted her A touch and taste all
over her milky skin Fake could never bare
her soul Smile Hair Voice All in a perfect
pitch Those who walked by All slithered with jealousy In a flick it was
hers Those who looked up
to her Knew what they were
doing They created her Bulletproof Chains Spines Placed on each of her
bones Until she felt
nothing but like a goddess Remaining high is where
she stayed I feared for her She needed to be free Run wild Laugh till she cried Feel connection It took days, months,
and years But where is she now? Sitting next me Feeling Listening Carrying nothing but her heart © 2014 Mary OchoaAuthor's Note
