BalloonsA Poem by OmarIllusion
I toss them around,
And they float in swirls Of pretty colors. I pity you" Disillusioned Child Buoyantly they Skip merrily through the air As I flail ecstatically They levitate Higher"higher O, Beautiful Rainbow! Pulsing! With such intense colors My heart beats with what I call As though I know What it is In this matrix of mine And when I grow weary of all this False fidgeting I decide to rest" Next to my Disillusioned Child They gracefully sink to the floor And Pop One by one, They explode Into a confetti of bitter colors" Once light and airy But my heart did not stop beating" I believe I have been disillusioned, After all © 2010 OmarReviews
