I believe
In a current flowing
With passionlike the fierce river
I believe
In the vastness of
The tempestuous ocean
I believe,
In the endlessness of the soft blue sky
In the freedom,
Of the ubiquitous breeze
In the stillness,
The presence
The distance
Of the amber sun
In the wildness of a tiger
Leaping
Fading
Disappearing
I believe in mermaids,
Cutting through the waters
Mutedly
Wearing the pinkest pearls
And cheeks as red as petal
I believe in the silver edges,
Of a sword
Bringing truth
To all what is shadowed
And uncertain
To all the broken midnight hearts
Suffering silently in the lonesome prairies
In the flare of a firefly
And fragile wings
Of a butterfly,
beautiful, beautiful, very beautiful!!! the theme of "affirmation for beautiful, and wonderful things" is one of my best loved themes of all time, and it is found in this poem!!
you are good! you captured the wonder of such unexplained loveliness in the simple things in this world (fantasy, like the mermaids, or reality, like waterfalls) and put it in words! very few are aware of all these beauty around, and don't lose sight of this beauty you have found! it is a gift given to you ! keep writing and inspiring!!
Ah. through love all things are truly possible!
A beautiful soulful artistic poem!
Well done my friend!
As long as this world still have great poetic writers like yourself, it can always survive through all its misery and crisis!
Keep writing from your soul for the good of all souls!
Good luck with all your future artistic works!
Always a friend!

Very great imagery! :) I like this because it builds up to this simple yet profound idea. My favorite part was from "In the flare of the firefly..." on. Amazing stuff!!

Keep that belief in your heart. There is so much beauty in this world, if we remain open to it. There are not only rose colored glasses around, but also mud colored ones. Don't ever wear those mud ones.
This is well written, and full of beautiful sentiment. Nice work.
After reading this poem, I believe too!
God its so beautiful. This line is so true:
I believe in the silver edges,
Of a sword
Bringing truth
To all what is shadowed
And uncertain
To all the broken midnight hearts
Suffering silently in the lonesome prairies
A sword can also hurt, and so comparing it to love was a touch of genius! As usual, this poem is gorgeous, stunning and entrancing. It really brings you into your world. The imagery is vivid, real and sublime. Lots of fantastic colours. This truly does sum up love in its entirety!
You are such a fantastic writer, sweetie! And a lovely person. Don't let anyone tell ya any different cuz your poetry is an example and clear evidence to what a wonderful soul you are.
