L.Y.R.I.C.S. (Life Yearly Reflected In Cultural Society)A Poem by Rosewood...Enjoy. Freestyle.Lives Yearly reflected in a cultural society Lines That is sculpted then written present what’s inside of thee Mind The pen is the culprit, which steers across ya focus Creating a vision, this is clearly intended to mirror thee Times That’s what were living in And what we’re living in, its time consuming Virgin eyes are sodomized, younger lives are ruined See when I’m truth pursuing, you view em as oddity See the only thing odd to me, is the fact that I’ve been conned At least Lied to 3 times a week By the pastor who hollers “Peace” Satan’s benefactor Not re-enacting not a psalm or speech Passage or a Chapter Caught in the rapture of “Hereafter” As if life’s not what you live for? And it’s apparent who’s the common theif. Pardon me But I’m honestly pouring out all my thoughts, beliefs Cautiously doing so, truth be told Most aren’t too fond of me F**k if I care Expressed ideas keep me calm as the dusk’s night air Mind’s eye heightened See I’m light years beyond my peers A dream reared by his nightmares Realizing what I’m fighting for is the same thing I’m writing for It’s frightening; I’m a sight for sore Eyes See my reflection mirrors perceptions of thy brethren Misdirected, God has in store For me, something epic Are these methods often mandatory? Cordially present to you M.A.N. Me against normalcy….. I hope you understand © 2012 Rosewood... |
