Banish the Doubt.

a poem for my last year in band <3

The curtains are coming to a close,

As the crowd throws rose after rose.

By my side are the kids I've watched grow

Just as fast as the music I play in allegro.

At attention, our feet are together,

Which leaves no room for blather,

Before we begin,

Our stomachs are in,

Our shoulders are back,

Ready to attack, 

Our heads are up,

For the close up,

Our chins are set in

With a great, big grin,

Our eyes filled with pride.

As we stand side by side,

Because to banish the doubt,

You must spread the love throughout.
