XIV.

A Poem by Madison.

"Hello?" I call into the darkness.
"Hello?" I call out within my soul.
"Is anyone there?" Rings through the darkness.
"Is anyone there at all?"
I fall to my knees
in question and prayer.
My arms wrapped 'round tight
hold in the hopeless despair.

This poem rhymes in a way that I can only describe as "echoey." Every human has experienced variations of the same loneliness and confusion that you have excellently summed up into a soliloquic stanza. I love it! Keep writing :)

An excellent little poem you have here, but I wonder to what the title alludes. 14.
