The Splint of Sunlight

The Splint of Sunlight

A Poem by Madison.

The Splintery sunlight graces itself

upon the gently capping water,

 reaching down to the depths,

illuminating the foggy eyes of the monster fish,

 large and overfed,

bread continuously tossed to the their large

 gaping

 peony

 mouths.
