A quiet desperation.

A quiet desperation.

A Poem by Madison.

A quiet desperation leaked from her throat and clung to her lungs. It was the desperation that became her strength. It was the hunger that turned and twisted and locked behind her eyes, keeping away any thoughts that may reveal her being. He looked through her eyes and saw the masquerade.
He turned.--with a sadness in his heart and a determination in his step.
..and her heart fell for him.
