an autumn morning

an autumn morning

A Story by Madison.

Her eyes were as misty as an autumn morning, and her hair was the color of the fallen leaves. And her smile--her smile was as bright as the springtime blossoms that whispered in the wind. Everything about her relayed the beauty of each season. Her softly-cadenced voice was the gentle falling snow. Her simple tripping laughter was the rain she danced with. Her freckle-sprinkled cheeks promised summer always came. And her lithe and playful step sighed that love was everywhere. Love was in the rough wisdom of the trees. Love was in the vast blueness of the skies. Love was always waiting for those who kept their hearts open wide. Love was the baby giggling in the swing at the park. Love was the ladybug landing for a moment on her shoulder. Love was the pansy determinedly pushing through the sidewalk crack. Love was happiness. She was the essence of happiness.
