We're tired of our self interested leaders 

lining their pockets 

and dragging us down into the s**t abyss 

we're not content with this fucked up spectator sport mentality 

a failed system that continues to deteriorate 

as long as it continues to exist

 

Our test scores will speak for themselves 

our actions will be screaming louder 

than their two faced purple prose 

our defiance will ignite a movement 

of educated highly informed opinions 

and empathy for all humanity 

no matter what we'll make out presence known

 

We wont be swayed by media misdirection 

won't give a f**k for reality tv 

we'll use our brains like brutal balled up fists 

and be adept at stating our point eloquently

 

A new age is dawning

time to take out the trash 

erase old misconceptions 

we have no need for them

 

A clean slate for the future

one we will be damned if we f**k up

like our ancestors before

It's a teenage revolution
