All Over Again

All Over Again

A Poem by Olmsted A. T.

All Over Again

Baby I love you

and all the things you do

you move me in ways

there's no one like you

we may fall on our face

as we tear down this place

but the squares

they deserved it anyway

That's what well tell ourselves

as we escape to the type of place

we wrote about each a cliche

one that we lived to death

and tried to pawn when there was nothing left

but at the end of the day

I couldn't bring my mind off of you

The place where our hearts beat side by side

and the beauty of the rhythm was a lullaby

one that we thought would keep us warm

but now I see that you're moving on

and I've been standing in that line for seventeen fortnights

hoping things would change and work out fine

but my luck has run out and you got other plans

ones that fit your personality Better than me

though every time I see your face

and twice as much when I hear your name

I cant help but fall all over again

That fateful night I looked at you

and I knew you were scoping me

We danced we kissed

Talked about music

And I thought it was a feeling

that I'd never have to miss

But hope moved on and ran away

With all the things

that I used to make you happy

And no matter what

somehow its happening

all over again
