inside me

inside me

A Poem by olivia

I think of a human
Growing inside me
Its hands touching
Me inside
Touching my heart

I think of a life
Given by mine
Its half of me
Its inside me
Touching my heart

From the screen
A tiny half shown face
A strong heartbeat
A new destiny

My eyes well up
As it kicks
The scans unclear
Boy or girl
But either ways
My new world

A tiny bump
The smallest knock
I falls in pain
Grab my bump
Its knocked again
I keep fallening
Till at bottom step
Bump in hands
Eyes swollen from tears
Pain growning
my new greatest fears
Coming to life
Starting to happen
I lost your daddy
All I want is you
To kiss your tiny toes
To hold your tiny fingers
To hear your tiny lungs
Cry for me
To hear how you want me

But its to late
The tiny fall
A tiny child
A massive hope
A massive pain
But its to late
You lost
Your daddy gone

well done ... fabulous words from some one so young... depth within the layers and something all women can relate to ... nice x x

What a gorgeous concept for a poem Olive, there are enough single Moms in this world to relate to this and enough children of single Moms to realize all that it means.
