The TrekA Poem by The FallenI could search for an eternity, And never find what I need. If you want to take my advice, Never look for paradise.
I've searched endlessly, Fighting with my enemy. I continue on my trek breathlessly, Searching for my serenity.
I must face my fear, Climb the highest heights. Push away the tears, To make it to my paradise.
Once the journey has begun, There are things you need to sacrifice. To go where you want to be, You may never flee, The evil that prevents you from your dreams.
Paradise may not even exist, It's hidden within the mist. It's a journey of a life time, A victimless crime.
As I search for my paradise, I must push away the good in my life. I must replace it with the demons, And my internal struggle. To prove I am worthy, of finding my serenity. © 2013 The FallenReviews
