Chapter 13A Chapter by The FallenWhile Cora starts a new project, we learn things about Warren we never knew.Cora
“Cora..” A familiar voice said, at first I thought it was Asher. The thought of him taking care of me felt...Well nice I guess. But he's a doctor of course, it's his job to take care of people. I felt something in my chest sink a little, if I head a real heart, I would have been sure that was what it was. Every day I spent on Earth, I became more and more human and I was still debating if it was a good thing or not.
“Cora..C'mon wake up.” The voice said before pressing their lips to mine. Now I knew who it was, Asher would never kiss me. Even if he would, he wouldn't do it to wake me up! I felt a low growl start to build up in my chest, Warren was going to pay for kissing me. Though I hardly spent time on my human emotions, I was still a girl and if I had even wanted a kiss it would have to be special. But nope, Warren just had to ruin something that was suppose to mean something to me, something I should have remembered for a life time. My first kiss.
I opened my eyes to meet Warren's green ones. Instantly he backed away and jumped off the bed, knowing exactly how I was feeling before I even spoke. “S-Sorry!” He shrunk back against the wall, his blonde hair falling over his face. I glared at him and summoned all my strength to stand up and pick the bed up.
“You freakin' kissed me!” I growled and threw the bed at the wall, only to have Warren punch his fist at it, snapping it in half before it even hit him. He looked at me, and I knew then it wasn't going to be easy to hurt him. I ran over to the wooden desk and whipped it across the room. Warren wasn't as quick as he was before, causing the desk to hit his leg. He screamed out in pain, I took this as my chance and summoned Stardust. I held my hand out as my sword appeared in my head, lunging for Warren I had one thing in mine. Kill him.
Before I could get to him the door swung open and Asher, in his tiger form, let out a roar. I stopped in my tracks and stared at him. Even in his tiger form his muscles were well defined, his tail swayed behind him and his orange ears were pinned back. He looked at me then back at Warren. He slowly walked into the room, taking in the damages I had caused. His blue eyes looked over at me and he shook his head, letting out a growl.
“H-He kissed me! It's all on you anyways, Asher. You shouldn't have left me with him!” I said. Warren rolled his eyes, pressing his back against the red wall. Asher shifted, his red hair fell over his eyes, shielding the look of disappointment he clearly wore.
“I did not think Warren would kiss you because you were weak at the time. I expected him to know better and just watch over you until I was able to retrieve some medicine.” He said, holding up a bottle of pills. Warren shrugged.
“I had a chance, so I took it. I have nothing else to say.” Warren stated with a slight shrug of his shoulders. He is such a jerk! I thought to myself. Then my thoughts drifted off to something else, or perhaps someone else.
“Hey Asher, I haven't seen Celeste in a few days. Where is she?” I asked, though it was clear to him I didn't really care more or less.
“She never told me where she was going exactly. Just that she was away for awhile, to find herself I guess.” He answered, but I could tell he was hiding something. I looked at Warren, he to could see that Asher was holding something back. “Anyways, here.” He handed me the pill bottle. “Take one a day and you should be fine within a week.” He gave me a lopsided smile. I nodded and looked around Warren's room one last time before walking out. “If I have told you once, I have told you a million times! You need to leave her alone!” Asher barked at Warren. I laughed, but then instantly covered my mouth. I was experiencing joy, I shook my head. You are getting to soft! I heard Asta's soft but harsh voice in my head. I nodded, I knew she was right. Ever since I was re-born I was getting softer, and allowing my human emotions to take over my body.
“I have one mission and one mission only. Save the clan then return to the stars.” I promised, I looked to the roof, as if Asta were there watching me. Good, you know your place. She answered me.
I entered my room, rose petals laid on the plush carpet. I bent down and picked one up, instantly the thoughts of my dream came back into my head. I was killed. Coretta was killed.
I watched as the petals swirled around the floor, and instantly came together, forming a light red rose. I ran my hand over the soft flower and smiled softly. I could feel a rush of energy go through my body, like I had felt before I transformed. It was a wonderful feeling, almost electrifying. It reminded me of the power I held within, the power I had to use if necessary.
I set Stardust down on my bed and pressed my back against the white walls of my room, wondering why I had a plain room and everyone else seemed to have their own creative rooms.
“Cora, I believe you have your own art project to be working on right now.” I grinned devilishly and dashed out of my room in search of paint.

Warren's POV
Warren sat out in the hall, his face buried in his hands. Every attempt to make Cora fall for him was just making her hate him a million times more. There was nothing he could possibly do, and there was nothing he could say to make her like him any more then she already did. Unless he used his charm speak to his advantage.
He shook his head, getting the insane idea out of his thoughts. If I am to make her love me, I must do it on my own. He told himself. He watched as Cora came down the hall, her hair swayed in the breeze from the open window. Her black eyes began to have flecks of orange in them, her eyes met up with Warren. Her fingers gripped the two metal buckets she held in each hand. Warren raised a brow.
“What are you up to?” He asked.
She rolled her eyes before answering, “I am working on a project of my own. So if you will excuse me.” She growled under her breath before trying to pass him. Warren shook his head and stood up, blocking her path.
“Why don't you like me?” He looked at her sincerity.
“Do I need a reason?” She scowled. Warren sighed, there was no point in trying to talk to her after what he had just done less then twenty minutes ago. She shouldered past him, the scent of a rose with a hint of vanilla hit his nose. He immediately became familiar with her smell. He chuckled softly.
“I guess not. But I do apologize for earlier.” Warren said. Cora stopped and looked back at him, her eyes hinted at a bit of confusion.
“Apologize?” She tilted her head. “You feel guilt?” She asked.
“Uh yeah, why?” He arched a brow. She shook her head.
“It is a un-necessary feeling...You would do much better in life without it.” She said before continuing down the hall. Warren watched her go, wondering what she meant by that. Did she not feel the same way as most people on Earth?
He sighed, that question was easily answered. There were so many things he wanted to say, to try and make things right with her. But he was who he was. He was brought into this world with a curse. He could never escape it, and it was all because of his parents. He cursed under his breath. No one was to ever know of the curse, not Asher nor Cora.
The only person that could help get rid of this curse, was his brother. Barren.
