Cordelia's mother disappeared when she was 10, leaving her behind with her younger sister. After attempting to live in a foster home, Cordelia and her sister decided to live in a cave where they would go with their mother when they were young.

Cordelia Has been having starnge dreams of a certain boy. She has also been able to 'speak' with waves. If she told anyone about this she knew for certain they would make her see a therapist. Cordelia decides to go and see a dream thearpist to see if she can figure out what it means. All the while a new boy has come to her school, and knows much more then he should about her.
