Chapter Three- Thoughts.A Chapter by The FallenChapter Three- Thoughts Cora I don't feel. I don't love. I don't touch. I don't heal. Why you may wonder, well my mother and father never taught me.I was supposedly the chosen child for something to come in the future. My childhood was in a brick building without ever leaving. My parents never came close to me, I felt like a diesed child. I was told it was to strengthen my will power and the only way to learn hatred. That's all I know. I don't know how to survive on my own. My father and mother never hugged or held hands, I often wondered if love were real. Maybe they were hurt by love and don't show it anymore. Now that I think about the only things I do know is hate, strength and courage. None of those emotions that hurt people, those emotions are for weaklings. But now I am feeling emotions, though I am hiding it deep inside I shall never release it. I am otherwise known as emotionally frozen. A big bang sounded off in the hall. I looked out the window on my door, and a man with blonde hair, and green eyes stood there punching the wall. I opened the door and leaned against the door frame. "What are you doing." I said, carefully filing my nails. He stopped bashing the wall and looked at me. He cocked his head and approached me. "Who are you?" He asked. His voice was gentle. I looked at his fists, there was nothing there to prove he was hitting the wall. "Cora." I said. "And you?" "Warren." He said with a slick smile. "So your the new girl." He came closer and attempted to touch my hand. I pulled my hand back and slapped his face. "No one touches me." I growled. He smiled and shook his head. He wasn't affected by my hit, was I not strong? "What kind of supernatural are you?" He asked. "Half vampire Half human and Half something else." I winked. "Mystery, I like it." He leaned against the wall across from my door. "and you?" I asked. "Half elf." he said proudly.
"Aren't elf's short and stuff." I asked.
"No! Do I look short?" I shook my head. Warren's gaze fell on my pink robe. "What are you wearing?" He asked, attempting to stifle his laughter.
"I'm going to get clothes in thirty minutes." I crossed my arms.
"Of course you are." He rolled his eyes, He shifted his weight onto his left foot and gave me a smug look. "So why would Asher save you?" He asked. I shrugged lazily.
"I wish he hadn't" I muttered. I will always wish that.
"Why?" Warren cocked his head and raised a brow.
"Becau-" I got cut off by Celeste.
"Warren your suppose to be in your room." She snarled, then her gaze traveled over to me. She sighed."Might as well not order you around since you don't listen." Warren let out a short laugh and looked at Celeste.
"I'm talking here." He said and then gave me a playful smile, that told me he knew how to tick Celeste off. I giggled. Celeste looked at me and she growled. She wasn't very cheerful for a fairy. "Just because your Asher's assistant doesn't mean you need to be bossy." Warren said, standing up straight. Then he gave me a wink, my heart fluttered. Wait! What does that mean. I snarled. Warren and Celeste both looked at me. I smiled sheepishly. I need to think before I do. Asher's familiar footsteps came down the hall.
"I see you have met Warren." He said, breaking the awkward silence between the three of us. I nodded.
"She must be special for you to decide to save her." Warren said, looking at Asher with secrets in his green eyes. He had something to say but he didn't want to say it around us girls.
"Of course." Asher replied. He then looked at me and held out a hand. "Shall we be on our way?" He asked.
"Yeah." I walked towards him, ignoring his hand that was held out for me. "See ya, Warren." I gave him a side smile and ran off.
"Sooner then you think." He replied with a tiny bit of promise in his voice. Asher walked beside me, he now wore a tux. A little bit to formal for clothes shopping but whatever. I chewed on my bottom lip and sighed. Why was I going to tell Warren why I wanted to die but I refused to tell Asher. It just made no sense.
"I was tempted to tell Warren why I wanted to die." I said breaking the silence.Asher let out a chuckle.
"He can convince people to do what he wants. Simply with his words." Asher pointed out. I nodded, pretty good power. I wish I had, but I had stronger ones. Ones that are also dangerous and cause a threat. We exited the facility and Asher opened the passenger door to a yellow and black camero. It looked like Bumblebee from Transformers, so awesome. I hopped in, and Asher got in the other way. He turned the key in the ignition and pulled out of the parking lot. I looked at the sign, Half S Hospital. I furrowed my brows, this wasn't much of a hospital, there were only four people living in it. © 2013 The FallenAuthor's Note
