Always

This is about a person that is really special to me in my life. and yeah it's not really a poem or a story and it's pretty much all over the place but oh well.

Late at night when I'm all alone,

and my sadness consumes me,

your name crosses my mind,

and tears stream down my face,

as I remember all of the good times we had.

I still remember the first time I saw you,

I never knew such beauty could exist.

It still takes my breath away till this day.

I still remember our first conversation, 

the days we spent getting to know each other,

talking about pointless things non-stop all day long.

But it didn't matter because I was talking to you and that was enough.

I remember our first phone call,

when your voice became trapped inside my mind for good.

I remember our first video call.

It was awkward, but I saw your face and instantly got the biggest smile on my face.

I had no idea how I got you to be mine.

You were so beautiful and perfect.

I remember all the good and bad times.

Our time of knowing each other has definitely been a roller coaster,

but I'm definitely grateful for it.

Our memories are some of my fondest.

you are and always will be one of the best people that I will ever come to know.

and you are also one of the strongest.

I will always be here for you,

and always love and care for you,

no matter if you're my friend, lover, or even stranger. I will still care for you.

Always.

And I know this won't mean much to you,

but I just needed to get it out.

I hope that you're in my life for as long as I'm in this world.
