Demons Were HumanA Poem by oli the outcastwriting while thinking about evil, I guess.
they say demons were once human.
how can we hate something that came from us? demons could still be human. somewhere deep inside, is there someone, something, scratching at the iron bars of the soul? dying, begging, screaming, pleading, to get out? to escape? and will that voice ever be heard? if you aren't saved, do you become that voice? deep inside. buried underneath blood and pain. begging and crying, that this isnt what you wanted, and that, you can change. for a second chance, you'll learn. to save others, to save yourself. what happens when you stop trying to escape? when you know for sure that you can't pick the lock, and there's not enough good left in your soul to bargain a way out, and when you learn that nothing will cut the bars, your tears won't melt them. your hands won't bend them. when you stop fighting the demon you became, what happens then? © 2013 oli the outcastReviews
