WHERE THE EAGLE FLIES

WHERE THE EAGLE FLIES

A Poem by Micheal Teal

Where the Eagle Flies
The Seeds of our Origins Grow
Awakening our Divine Self

Where the Eagle Flies
Spirits Dance like Leaves
Igniting the Flame of the Soul

The Song of the Earth
Is a Lullaby of Peace
Which Nourishes the Soul

The Song of the Earth
Is a Dance of Bliss
Which Embraces the Spirit

Where the Eagle Flies
There is a Ship of Fate
Sailing Through the Divine

Where the Eagle Flies
Is a Glow of Greatness
Rekindling the Flame of Spirit

The Song of the Earth
Is a Window into the Soul
Which Unleashes Gods Beauty

The Song of the Earth
Is a Conduit of Light and Love
Which Connects us to Sacred Mother Earth

Where the Eagle Flies
Is a Lush Garden
Resonating Gentle Loving Energy

Where the Eagle Flies
Is a Celestial Kingdom
Illuminating the Truth from Within

Take me Where the Eagle Flies
That I may Touch the Face of God

Very well written, and very thought provoking. This writing brings about the feeling of peace and serenity I feel it is meant to do. Very good writing, and a very positive message. I also need to put some gentle writing on this site. I have another site on writerscafe, but do some writing for children, and will not place erotica on it for obvious reasons. Still, I want to place some writing on this one that is not angry stuff. This site was put here for the purpose of making political points, at times using methods I do not necessarily want to sign my name to, but want to write. My writing always has a purpose that is deeper than erotica, but erotica is one way of getting some issues across, especially issues of sexual freedom, or sexism, etc. Brandi Delilah, is actually my dog, and these are her pictures.

The story I plan to use this site to write will be titled "Dog Days of Summer," which will be a humor filled story told from a dog's point of view. It will have some off color humor, and will be adult writing. I plan to also write a children's versian of the story with a different title, and it will be on my other site. Do keep reading my stuff on this site, and find the message that is inside all the junk. Some people will never read anything worthy that is not hidden inside something they think is supposed to be sexual, thus Brandi Delilah, my pet, came to have her own site. You seem like someone who will also read some deep stuff, knowing it isn't all about sex. LOL. More than one way to skin a cat, but I can't tell you who I am, because that would defeat the purpose of this site. I do not want my identity known by very many people at all. Brandi Delilah

I loved your last lines

"Take me Where the Eagle Flies

Beautiful was my visit with you as I soared with the eagle.

This poem reaches into the soul of all who read it. I love your inspirational style, Micheal.

Eagles have always interested me. Such strong birds and the fact that they fly alone amazes me.

I feel more in touch with God having read this. Thank you for the write. :-) Carole

Hello Michael Teal,

Where the eagle sores is within me, within us all. I like your bio. It says a lot about your inner spirit. I too seek the comfort of understanding that lies within forgiveness. While at the same at the time how we arrive from the cradle to the grave so broken withi ourself, so disconnected from the image of God's love within us. Excerllent writing. Peace and long life. I very much like your last two lines! They are a poem in and of themselves. Thanks for posting this.

This would make a nice song if structured another way. ;o)

I've lived in places where the eagles soar, and this is a good description. A Navajo or Hopi would find you a kindred spirit with this piece. The repetition of the two first lines is reminiscent of Jewish poetry - ancient Jewish poetry. It's a technique that works well here.

Michael, I enjoyed your poem immensely. I fully understand the message as we have our feet pointed within the same direction. In terms of poetry. I found the construction to be so very thoughtful.
