SOWING SEEDS OF PEACE

SOWING SEEDS OF PEACE

A Poem by Micheal Teal

I am a global gardener
Sowing seeds of peace
My love of humanity
Inspires and nourishes me

We must embrace our sacredness
We must be ambassadors of light
We must respect the earth

We must savor every breath
We must invoke self awareness
We must manifest the life we desire

I am a global gardener
Sowing seeds of peace
My love of humanity
Inspires and nourishes me

I bless the heart of the world
I seek to foster greater harmony
I live life in a conscious way

I seek the path to belonging
I believe in the power of community
I honor and celebrate life

I am a global gardener
Sowing seeds of peace
My love of humanity
Inspires and nourishes me

You are heaped with blessings
You are touched by genius
You are a vessel of expression

You are aligned with a higher goal
You are a student of truth
You are gentleness and love

I am a global gardener
Sowing seeds of peace
My love of humanity
Inspires and nourishes me

To survive we must see the peace within us all and seek to
cultivate a lifetime of joy while creating environments which serve the
betterment of humankind. To survive we must transcend the ordinary
while exploring diverse worlds and recognizing the sacredness in each
and every one of us. To survive we must listen to whisperings of our
souls while generating joy and harmony. To survive we must acknowledge
the limitless enrichment of the human spirit while embracing truth and
inspiring joy.

I am peace, I am freedom, I am Human, I am Sacred
You are peace, You are freedom, You are human, You are sacred
We are peace, We are freedom, We are human, We are sacred

I am a global gardener
Sowing seeds of peace
My love of humanity
Inspires and nourishes me

Let us all be gardeners that this may be a world where peace blossoms
and freedom is in abundance.

I am refreshed from reading your positive poem! You let people know what they need to do...very gently and lovingly...instead of choking people with it. Choking doesn't work too well. lol. Your words are tender and bring sunshine...."You are heaped with blessings You are touched by genius You are a vessel of expression"...you remind us of all the great things available for the taking. You tell us about giving.
What a journey...I imagined this as a song and with your paragraph, a narrator reading with an accent of some kind. Love it

so upbeat and inspirational. Full of hope and happiness and peace. I wish we all felt this way about each other- the urge to hold each other sacred and to care for fellow man seems to lessen more and more each day. I try to teach my children to love for people simply bc they are people not for what they can do for you or what you might gain...simply bc you should "love thy neighbor". It is hard to keep them in this mind-set as the world of television and peers see things so differently! I needed this breath of fresh air this morning, thank you. and freedom is in abundance. "

Namaste! The divine in me recognizes; respects; and bestows blessings upon the divine in you. What a wonderful poem. This is going into my Library today.
I enjoy how you have shown in this work that we have the divine inside each and all of us; if we all would simply look within rather than without; if we would simply nurture rather than deprive.
This is so very beautiful.

Reading this poem, i am filled with the sense of peace and tranquility of a person working in their garden. Yeilding the fruits of peace, harmony and understanding. Fruits, which take much and effort of all involved to bear its rewards, to those who are patience. Thank you for sharing this poetric mantra with us.

As a fellow gardner, I truly relate to the imagery you have used and how our actions are like sowing seeds and tending a garden. Peace is not easy, it is work in the world we live in. Beautifully put - almost a mantra or prayer.
