In the society caregiver does a noble duty, she takes care of seriously ill elderly person, child or youth. According to the specification of caregiver’s duty, two types of caregiver are there, one is home health caregiver or home health aide and the other one is personal caregiver or personal care aides. The works of home health aide is quite different; a home health caregiver always keeps records of his works. She needs to get training because from the agency which he is getting the license for serving is govt. approved, the agency also gets funding from the govt. This type of caregiver monitors the condition of the seriously ill patients mainly. A home health caregiver needs to be high school diploma. On the other hand, a personal caregiver does the job of home making, cooking errands, shopping, helps for bathing, changing dress and toileting.

It is seen that to become a home health caregiver, one needs to be minimum high school diploma and there after she has to attend the course program, she can go for online program, in this course online home senior care courses are taught via webinars, these training events with presenter and interaction with candidate is done, also e-courses, which are printed version of webinar sessions are held for doing study at home.

Caregiver Basic Training Program

In a university, some basic training programs are organized to teach the caregivers, those are as follows:

1. Easy to follow sections on each caregiver learning topic.
2. Tip sheets for each section
3. Study review and caregiver quiz each section.
4. Audio entire course to listen with speaker and headset.
5. Passing the caregiver at least getting with 75%marks.
6. Revaluation of the candidates by taking frequents tests.

A caregiver must complete her course within 4 years time frame. Especially to become a caregiver one needs no specific degree or earlier experience, one gets experience while being engaged in the work. In some states, for all types of caregiver jobs postsecondary exam is taken, it is achieved by studying in vocational schools or community colleges. Caregiver has to pass a competency test to get license for practice.

4. Always keeping positive attitude
5. Good communicative skills

Market Statistics of the Caregiver Job

Conclusion
A caregiver does a lot of duties, although when she works as a personal caregiver she gets support of nurse, but her job is full of responsibilities.
