elysium fields

elysium fields

A Poem by Ojay/olcay

Between us,
the abyss of longing,
an ocean deepens.
Never wake the day dreamer; never discard a kiss.

Perhaps we missed the entrance into Elysium Fields
and that is why we fell onto Earth

to fall in love and to die, eventually

without each other, alone again
to day dream about kisses that once were

between us,
while the coven of lust brewed,
Elysium Fields disappeared under Earth's Monsoon.

This is excellent, slightly haunting and definitely beautiful. I especially love the way you've separated "to fall in love and to die, eventually" into it's own stanza.
