Bewitching melodies drift alongside red canyon walls

Notes caressing curves of ancient rock rising n falling

In the distance a lone flute sings soulful tributes to life

Honor to balance all in this sacred garden of sentinels

Haunting notes lift, touching everything in their path

Inventive sunset dances color onto spires illuminating

Shadowing highlighting mystical painted walls of art

Magic effects of song and light enthralling completely

Curiosity becomes a hellion propelling me to explore

Winding down the wall along the rivers path weaving

To where waters fall cascading into pools lit n aglow

Beams of Ruby, Vermillion, and Ochre trick the eyes

On an epic journey seeking the weaver of Red notes

Following the light that crossed worlds to shine here

Haunting melody pulling me as light fades to purple

Sun gives way falling as sky greets silver moon sliver

River meanders under the star filled sky as I forget

To tame this lusty wanderer inside beaconing me

Journey, tarry a while longer under the jeweled sky

As stars dance and weave stories of times gone by

I had a lot of fun writting this because something very much like the poem actually happened to me while following the sound of a Native American's flute down along the very canyon pictured here.

This was so good dear poetess... in my time I was away, I came back each night, to read some of your poetry, and I couldn't wait to give it my vision, in reply to what you do on here. For and to people. You have a way with words that is remarkeble, and touching, as an ancient soul, is whispering through you, the feelers and gift of translating it into the most beautiful poetry, for us, and yourself is a gift for us all. Loved each line, it really made me travel to your roots, and canyon... thank you so much, for being you, and that gift you share.

Oh you little conductor you!
SLick movements and creating the rolling hills of red rocks and canyons and air drifts into your own private orchestra. Skill level high. To effectively create a beat or melody with flat word paper.
Tough sell...I'm buying/.
"On an epic journey seeking the weaver of Red notes"
Yes. We become some sort of whispy thing, bouncing across bar notes and full time beats to this. The whole time admiring the scenery.
Notr to mention the whole thing is wrapped up partridge in a pear tree style by pasting the night time hues all over ourr sleeping faces...
S**t..now I need a nap, a warm sunset and a bottle of cold whiskey.

Good night HO HO

This has beautiful imagery of the journey and exploring in your story. It is painted as if i am standing there along side the narrator exploring with them.
