Crawl Through Broken Glass

This poem was inspired by a challenge to write a poem listening to "I'm Gonna Crawl" and written for Led Zeppelin Lovers Group.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There is nothing like it, nothing in this world,

Words don’t work to capture it

You couldn’t understand, not unless… He was yours

He gives me such good heavens, glorious delights

Fills me overflowing every single night

 

I want for nothing in this life he gave me all n more

He's everything I ever need

He lifts me high; his eyes reflect his love for me

He takes me where I’ve never been always up n up

Never left me hanging never in the cold

 

To be with him again

I’d swim seven storming seas

I’d rocket to the moon, orbit any star

Leave the world behind me oh so very far

 

I'd Crawl through Broken glass, Crawl through Broken glass

 

For just one kiss

Climb up high

One last chance

One more peek

Into glowing eyes

Crawl through hell

Claw my way back out

To see him one more time

Through Bro ken Glass
