Roc's Delight

A Poem by Veronica Chandler
"

This one is a memory of times gone by.

Lifting my thoughts creating anew

Living gently in light waves o blue

Carried along in ripples gently rolling

Walk so softly amongst life strolling

Drunk on the smell wafting up from you

Tumbling deep into your heart so true

Falling and flailing to get a good grip

From deep in your soul I take a big sip

Leave all my senses up on a high shelf

Leaving only half of my spirit and self

Inside I will hold tiny pieces of a heart

Bring remembrance of the very best part

I carry you with where ever I go

The heart you gave will always show

Show in the lines on my smiling face

Showing your love through my living grace

I am forced to turn the Read Requests back off; I am receiving far more per day than I can manage. I brought the numbers down to the low 700's but over the last couple of weeks they have begun to cre.. more..
