GPS SignalA Poem by Veronica ChandlerContemplating GPS and how often I have Lost and Found myself.
If I traced out all my steps what is it I would find? Have I lost myself somewhere along the swirling line? Between my trail of fear and hopes, this soul does not find rest It waits for reassurance that I have done my best. If GPS could trace for me all the places I have been Would my path resemble art born from an artist’s pen? Perhaps as I search for truth that doesn’t seem to come My path looks like chaos drawn by me blind and numb Send to me a signal now O satellite up on high Tell me where I am and been so I won’t pass me by I have searched the world all over to find myself so long Been guided by vision quest and loves sweet song GPS does promise that I might yet be found Tell me where I am right now that my joy will resound Please send a signal now to the phones light in my hand Blink to reassure me when you find me in this land © 2011 Veronica ChandlerAuthor's Note
