Wolf Roams

Earth Dog is the sign in me when seen in chinese astrology; I have known many a real wolf and moon she is my favorite. Moons picture graces this piece of work in me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Earth Dog Speaks

In sheer delight

One wolf up to the other

Reassurance bites at love

One pack insights another

As Lone wolf roams in endless search

For comfort and another

 

With Wit one pack surrounds all prey

And devours every morsel

Words do bite and will ignite

The fight or flight and clearing sight

Meant to lift an alpha to omega

Up to the height till wolf does see

 

Deep inside the den of earth

Lies the pup that waits

Lick my ear to calm the fear alongside with a whisper

Forsake me not the lone pup calls

To quietly proclaim a need for her dear sister

In the rumblings of the darkest den

 

One wolf speaks to the other

Roam the land in search of flight

The eagles sight from up on high

Sing a song my turtle dove

And call my wolf back home

She waits for me with puppy breath while I do roam alone

 

Badger watches otter off dancing in the sea

The depth to which she often dives inspires wolf in me

I seek to fill my empty belly with humming birds delight

Fanciful flights of thoughts do stir a hunger oh so deep

For puppy breath and bellies full

Of fanciful delight
