Love Dreamed

I have written before about my love and my life gone wrong, purging my pain onto page. Now I write to create what I seek.

 

Love Dreamed

 

Tending my garden while guarding my heart

You walk softly on this my sacred ground

As you whisper tender mercies

In the admiration that you’ve found

 

Among the forest of my trees you dance in delight

Rhythmic pulses of love for us to unite

Kneeling in reverence

 As you find

An immaculate sanctuary

 Deep in my mind

 

Till now the gardens been guarded by me

Never neglecting a single tree

Nurturing loving and supporting all life

Doing it all disregarding the strife

 

Now you’ve entered this fish’s domain

You swim in my water and find no complain

The water it is so crystal clear

Nothing murky and nothing to fear

You drink from my wellspring

Refreshed as you sing

 

Vowing to protect my garden with care

You vow to keep clean all the love that we share

You vow to swim by my side in these streams

Love drunk for life we will grow all good dreams

Nestled in the underbrush of my forest of love

You find the peace of a tender dove

"We will grow all good dreams" caused my frown to come apart at the seams. The soul is weved into there words and are the loveliest song I have heard. I see the garden your lonely tears have grown but also know the beauty and strength you have shown.
