Whispering spirit laughs with me

To lift my sagging self up

Caused me to look in the mirror

To see me through your love eyes

All I can see is past carved there

Without you to reflect me

I don’t see me with truths love eyes

You showed me my real beauty

I owe my love of life to you

You saw me when I could not

I saw only a distortion

When you saw a bright light shine

Thank you lover who haunts my soul

I owe everything to you

I can close my eyes and feel you

In silence hear your light

I miss you reflecting my light

Now I must learn to see me

I practice how to see me right

By your love eyes reflecting

I owe you everything lover

I’ll carry on without you

Lighter still while heavy hearted

To honor you I’ll see me

i like the back and forth in this...because in the end, although we often profess to need love from others...it is loving our self that is most important...to be able to stand in front of that mirror by ourselves and like what we see...not needing that support, although wanting it and enjoying it.

again a really strong piece of writing that shows that inner battle to attain self-worth...

you write like plath...as she would say "readers want to know it from someone who has been there"

you have and readers can benefit from your words.
