Poetry FlowsA Poem by Veronica ChandlerA friend said to me, "We bleed poetry" and this piece was born.Poetry
Flows
I’m
Bleeding poetry
As
rhythmic pulses spill my soul
Through
pen, on to page
The
red smells blue And words ring true
Puddles
of me spread
As
life force refreshes my spirit
Reflections
dance light
The
glossy sheen Inside now seen
Slipping
on the wet
Thoughts
sputter and spurt life
Healing
begins, it stings
Messes
are made Pain starts to fade
Truth
ignites a fire
Enlightened
understanding hopes
Mastering
this my quill
The
ebb and flow Does help me grow
Spilling
my poetry
A
trepanation of the spirit within
Master
of a bleeding heart
Giddy
with delight
Expanding
insight
