Special Girl

 

She walks the halls

Her head held low

Watching her steps

 

A single call of her name

Whipping of the head to stare

A smile starts to cross her pale face

 

She moves in her childish jog

Over to the caller

Smile growing as she approaches

 

A special hug between the two

She pulls away and stares

Freckled face turning red

 

They talk, laugh, and smile

A lovely bond

Friends for life, Sisters at heart

 

Her teacher walks by

Patting her shoulder

A signal to move on

 

She smiles more and grips the callers arm

Dragging down the hall, still laughing

A stop at their classes, beging to depart

 

They start to break off

But the freckled face beauty skips on back

To attack with another hug

 

More smiles and laughter

Pulling away, she stared, eyes glowing

"I love you," her lips read

 

She left, skipping

Across hall to her class

The caller just walked to her class smiling still
