Past Remains

The past remains

 

The sky is a deep blue

Clouds starting to cover it

The sun has gone

And so has our souls

We walk for miles

To find our soul

But always return

The same as before

Our walks are never a success

They just lead on

Dread fills our minds with dout

We'll never move on from the past

We think,

The past is as simple as that

Just our past

It truelly can't be brought back for the better

To hold on tight so you don't lose

What you lost now

More and more dreadful thoughts fill

The past remains

Someone concludes

We all nod and walk off

Dread and Loss

Brings us down

But we still walk on

Because the past remains

The past remains
