Hotel Room

Hotel Room

A Poem by Olivia R.H.
"

A nonnet reflecting on those away-from-home places and feelings so placidly chaotic

"
Fan tilted, cord trailing like worm blood
Melatonin, Nutella, browns
Geometric lamps but still
Hide-colored blinds, napkins
No "spot" exists and
foaming suitcase
won't stay till
the pot
cools

Author's Note

Olivia R.H.
The last four lines are purposefully lowercase in order to emphasize the impatience to travel home
