Empty

there's tears on my sleeve

i've cried for days

people have noticed

i've changed my ways

i no longer find joy

i no longer smile

my body is empty

the life in me has left for a while

why do you laugh

how are you happy

when you're supposed to be hurt

and lost without me

you took my breath away

along with my heart

now i'm left suffocating

all broken and torn apart

I like the poem... But I am curious about the story behind the broken heart.

[Alone In A Crowd]

I like this poem. Especially the final stanza, it's very good, yet to improve you could try to use 'better' vocabulary in your future work. Yet overall I like it alot- it tells a good story.
