A Poem by offbeat orator

if you had the choice to be wise or brave,
which honour wouldst thou rather choose?
in your hands the power to punish or save,
which face wouldst thou rather have lose?
noble servant of God or god of foolish men,
which purpose wouldst thou life rather serve?
when dark falls and your sun does descend,
which master wouldst thou rather have unnerved?
