SubmersionA Poem by Kya
All I feel is darkness closing in
I wish only to succumb to its sweet caress Oh Dark, forget the Light. Let's run away from here. To a place where shadows reign supreme With their whisper crowns and their nightmare thrones. To a place where even the brightest shining Could not penetrate to the forsaken land. The lights scorch and burn, while you My sweet darkness, Only envelop the senses in a thick blanket of no worries. No cares. No tarnished views. Just Dark Light does not do this. It brings forth the monsters and demons through its filtered lighting and lenses. The monsters tear, the demons take over. The people become blinded by insecurity and empty promises So very full of anger and spite I do not want greed, like those with the Vile Touch. I do not want to retch up My memories, my dreams For the sake of fame and fortune I Don't Want Society Anymore Kiss me, my blackened love For yours is the only touch I need. For too long I have endured the light- Now I shall fight back and Return To the darkness From whence I came.
