Truth and Wishes

Truth and Wishes

A Poem by Souladareatease

Stars twinkle at last light removal
covering day to its powdery dust
where the eyes see clearly
wishes of this world
strewn
to explosion covering us

There Ink and tear
poise unison
dripping wax sealing confession
as an act of contrition
holding in secret
sounds of the pumping heart

O dare do we say
each one spoken for
utter only
by the sound of a gurgle
reaching their comfort light
by a distant Dawn

Lines in the sand
etch deep
from glares of another
tying tongues proper
placing, bound in shackles
crying limp, seething from starvation

Ever mine shall Heavens reflection
play trumpet
leading a chorus along strings
lighting up
the stage with pin point accuracy
passions play
