A world sojourner

A world sojourner

A Poem by Souladareatease

My Haven Sanctuary
starlit night

breathing humid air
amidst the firefly

sleepless sound
echoes recall

times past song
hung upon a wall

Shadows kiss
loved ones mist
floats beyond hour

hands reaching out
fickle the minute
wile we softly sigh

sorrows sown silently
stretch, seeping
sullen secret sounds

carry hearts above
silvered clouds
Heavens sweep toward

let a journeyman
reap his just reward
bathed in light of birth
that which gives wing span
perfect flight above the earth
