A TREE FALLS IN THE WOODS

Death came scythe polite
Cutting down the man and wife
They never sighed they never cried
Continued holding hands
Through the other side

Greg and Linda had married young
Lived their lives
Loving one
Each day they rose
And night drew close
Kept in fold
As the others clothes

Here,the spirits
Not knowing it ended
Traveled great distance
Laughing,giggling

Ted walks his dog
Everyday, far and long
Entering the trail
The dog barks
Wagging his tail
Ted, c***s his head,
Hearing faint whispers,
Loving things said
the voices came quicker
his eyes became bigger
Knowing he entered 
realms of the spectres

Running away in screams
From the forest of trees
So scared was he
Leaving the leash

Our couple, now have a pup 
So cute so fluff
Theres always walks,
Chase and stuff
Calling her Ginger, and to that

this pup...

she said,
RUFFF!!!

Interesting idea...for some reason I'm reminded of the movie Beetlejuice. Where the Maitlens (sp?) are killed, but they still remain together, locked in their house, unaware of their death until they attempt to leave. This piece has a different feel to it, which I liked. I like the imagery and the mystery, as well as the flow. Good stuff.

yes , like Sarah, i thought of Beetlejuice..and of that Nicole Kidman movie, "The Others" this is cute and shouldn't be, because it is kinda frightening..but a highly successful write. well done!
