Life Walks On A Tight Rope

Life is a fickle thing

Night's thoughts, brings

Horror's songs, sings

of Death's bell, it's rings

the terrible things he brings, 

the thoughts of that night, it seems......

a phantasm 

A tight rope, our life walks

over the endless darkened chasm

an imbalanced move, life balks

the chasm no longer a phantasm

My feet on the ledge of .......

my last breath!

My soul, on the edge of .......

Eternity's death! 

What lies in the darkened chasm?

I cannot fathom

only heard, is the chasm's phantasm

In the darkness, what lurks, 

waiting to consume my soul?

the fire, fueled by sinful works

for the sin is it's coal, 

that fuels the fire for the soul

for the soul must pay it's toll!

From this dream I awake!

soaked with sweat, from the Dream's hell

leaving my body to shake!

leaving the stench, soul's burning smell

Our feet on the ledge of .....

our last breath!

our soul on the edge of .....

Eternity's death!
