my american girl

my american girl

A Poem by odhiambo
"

about a friend i loved who went away

"

i once loved a girl in a bungalow,

her hair would glow by the fireside in her lawn.

her laughter would ring in her hippie african living room, with cussions as red as ocher on a morans ciffer.

her bent back fluid as she petted zollo her beloved aged dog,big and black and the only true love in her life.

ciggaratte smoke in aperfect still night, filled with strange sweet songs that only an african night can be.

my american girl,she moved

away to lands unknown.

i like this, the feel and the visual look are very gentle in the fall and rise like after thoughts on healed broken hearts.
