Forever His

This is a poem over the guy I am trying despratley to get over and move on with my life!

I Love him and I don't know why

All he does is makes me cry

Why does he have to do this to me

To my heart he has the key

Him I've tried to forget

But I can't, I regret

I think I should give in

For my heart he is meant to win

The love he first did show

I wish he would again bestow

But all my dreams and my only hope

I have lost so I must cope

Will he come back or just forget

Am I his biggest regret

My heart is his I'm sorry to say

And forever it will stay

The feelings of this poem are ones that anyone who has had their heart broken by someone else can understand and relate to. As far as the structure there are rough places that you can easily find if you read the poem out loud. This something I learned long ago and still use when I'm trying to polish my own work and something that I'm always happy to pass along in the same way that it was passed along to me. Good job here and I hope that you soon you'll find someone else who is worthy of you and will make you happy. :)

I fully agree100% I have been there too, I can relate never will I understand guys who treat someone wrong n make them cry. Everyone deserves to love but there is others out there who will love you for you n that I can atest too. I love heartfelt writes they say so much.

Good write. I must say the only critizism I can give is that when you write poetry in that style, try to keep with the same beat for each line that rhymes. Other than that, the poem is great and expresses feelings that everyone feels within their lifetime. Good job, keep writing.
