Down your dark road

Down your dark road

A Poem by Michelle
"

a write about domestic abuse written a bit abstract

"
Peaceful where the water flowed
endulging in soft grassy moore
beneath the lofty old pine tree's
the treasure of my lore.

My muse, the song of innocence.
Nature's love intune in me.
Then the rays of sun dispersed
the willows wept, bend and sway....

Gray you turned the world.
Loved into a bitter sickness.
Diseased the country way
of likeness in my heart.

Down your dark road we drove,
lost forever and all time..
cloak and daggers still the breath
wings of virgins fly.....

Forever cursed the beauty
tainted crystal pools
lost inside a whirl of madness
when the tainted breath of hell unfurled.

Look away from the stolen glaze
the gaze of dark with the eyes
knowing is no mystery
swing wide..... open the gates.

Hold onto only air, hold on for all your might.
Bated breath of sins first cause
from then.. no looking back.
The road traveled down your dark road..

Behold the sins of grays,
tainted pools of black and blue
broken jars and dropped flowers
jigsaw perfect break the rules.

Wore your mark you branded
once the beautiful eve.
Scared of shadows and of nothing
the moon seemed bring grief.

Down your dark road
voided of all beauty
twisted mind warped into nothing
count the minutes down.

you are my ultimate nightmare....... haunting forever more

very traumatic experience but very well illustrated in words. i like the use of color words to paint the picture of darkness. It gives you a certain feeling. I always like to commend women for being so brave on expressing their pain and experiences. It takes a lot of courage and it not only empowers you but it empowers other women and men who have suffered trauma that can read it and know people like yourself that are strong enough to come forward with their story.

thank you.

peace and joy to you,
Danielle
