A Poem by Michelle

"Our search"
dusks last breath
wondering aimlessly
still finding the way.

Gathering each emotion
like tiny pebbles
to toss around
another day.

One's reasoning
is just their own.
Not our law
set in hard stone.

Tattered and weathered
wings on mend
tending to thoughts
bending in dreams.

How far does it go?
Where does it end?
Entwined in trust
good deed in friend.

Slipping at times
beyond last shimmers
of twilights gaze
we dance on calico winds.

This is a nice mix of philosophy, images, and psyche.

"One's reasoning

Not our law

Lovely thought...

"Slipping at times
beyond last shimmers
of twilights gaze
we dance on calico winds."

Oooh, this sounds so good read out loud. Watch out for the absent apostrophe, though, in "twilight's gaze".

Really good poem.

Have a nice day!
