Edges

Edges

A Poem by Michelle

Silence has its own misery
subjected to ones confines
blunt edges razer sharp raw and wide open.

"Once bitten" we slide down ward
escaping nothing
digging into said drawers
for salve to stave certain pain.

Beyond the suns burn
inside the twilights glisten
we wont gather once more
the star dust has dried in the sky.

Edges refined, given a name, created and recreated once again.

This is exquisite, an abstract and thought provoking piece. I got the feeling it's about death, and religion maybe? Regardless I love the way it sounds when I read it aloud, and the opening line starts it off so well, "silence has its own misery." Oh, yes, how it surely does. Thanks so much for the review, feel free to send me any read requests, and I'll comment on any others that catch my eye.

Have a nice day!
