Still TimeA Poem by ocean emotionThat moment I had when driving, sunset dripping over my windshield as the dimming colored clouds hugged my soul until I wept with joy that I could feel and had a heart even though it was still raw and bleeding.
That moment I have when I hear that song and I'm taken me back to those childhood summer days; laughing and singing along in the black vw bug, top down.
That moment I have when the smell of autumn leaves smoldering into soil and rain soaked summer grasses takes me home to the family farm where I had a childhood, where my children were born.
That moment I want of your pomegranate lingering lips is where I go when I close my eyes and think of you whom I may not yet know.
for time to stand still with you. © 2008 ocean emotionAuthor's Note
