Why does this feel so right, when you're so wrong?

Why does this feel so right, when you're so wrong?

A Poem by kelsey violette

i hurt myself so you don't get the chance,

i cry myself to sleep so only the moon sees my pain.

i paint a smile on to make you happy.

i use your elastic bands to cover my wrists,

the pain races through my veins like heroin.

your name scarred in my mind, like the stars we saw that night.

i counted twenty two stars, and lost count when our hands touched.

why do you touch to love?

my head is on your chest, my heart pounding irregularly with yours.

our fingers weaved like the cross hatch of the moon.

why does this feel so right?

when your so wrong.
